Everybody not living in a hole in the ground has read about the master level DL program that "learned how to play in 72 hours."
It's an achievement. But, I think the "72 hours" does not cover the time the developer must have spent fine tuning and designing the apparently several levels of control needed to THEN learn chess in 72 moves hours. Just reading the blaring headlines it makes it sound like the machine started from scratch and learned the whole works in 72 hours. But, that leaves out the human-level control design. Unless I missed something? I did not read it in detail. ------------------------------------------- AGI Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/303/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/303/21088071-f452e424 Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=21088071&id_secret=21088071-58d57657 Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
