Sure. In a way yes; in a way no.... The metaphor of the "door" is limited, right? If a being is configured not to fit through the door, and said being needs to get reshaped in order to fit through the door, then in what sense is the door actually open to that being? The Singularity will spread among all sapient beings on Earth, knowledge of how to easily get out of the "video game" of our current reality....
