Jever notice that, seems like it's being created verses discovered when "finding" new unique patterns - patterns being a new scientific discovery or a cultural creation as in a unique pattern in music or art.
My question is - are we creating this, is this simulation emanating from the collective, are novel discoveries really intentional creations that are pushing the boundaries of a collective quantum consciousness? Reiterated, are discoveries really creations at the computational edge of collective thought because these patterns ultimately become part of the symbolic inter-agent, intergenerational communication protocol "pressure" of a collective integrative complexity. So for a simplistic self-answer - what is a discovery and how do you arrive at that particular unique pattern? It takes computational expense and/or a combination of luck and perception. An intentional computational expense tp achieve a discovery implies a creation, and putting oneself into a perceptive state to absorb a unique pattern, say a unique chemical formula YTB noticed, that perceptive receptive potential also implies an a priori computational intent. Discovery prefers consciousness and creativity prefers intelligence. Consciousness being akin to a potential energy and intelligence kinetic. And if the collective consciousness is a reflection of the set of unique patterns in a morphicly/thermodynamically isolated multi-agent intelligence a.k.a. people on Earth then generating those new informational patterns against a thermodynamic entropy really is an ongoing perceptual self-organizing and expanding simulation. "simulation" really implies a consciousness of an external consciousness. . .ah whatever just some incomplete thoughts...
