What I'm impressed is the high acuity, and a detailed world model, built by serial scanning of the world with a high-resolution spot. Very much like us (fovea), but implemented in just 100000 neurons. It would be definitely interesting to build an industrial/military or exploratorial robot on a spider or a crab model.
