We do not recommend to use the windows installer to run Agilo in production as it gives you very little control how Agilo is installed. We optimized the installer for minimal intrusiveness - not for ease of maintenance and performance. If you want the ease of the windows installer but with a better performing setup, we recommend to use the virtual-machine appliance to set up Agilo or just let your SysAdmin install Agilo from Scratch with Apache or even the Windows Server Connector. (Tutorials for this can be found on the net and especially on the Trac Website <http://trac.edgewall.org/>). Python, which Agilo is based on, is available for several platforms. The Windows installer installs a 32 bit version of Python though, if you want to use the product on a 64 bit version of Windows, you will have to install Python for 64 bit manually [ http://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.5/python-2.5.amd64.msi ] and then continue the installation as described on our web page [http://www.agile42.com/cms/pages/download-install/] Cheers Robert -- Follow Agilo on Twitter: http://twitter.com/agiloforscrum Please support us by reviewing and voting on: http://userstories.com/products/8-agilo-for-scrum http://ohloh.net/p/agilo-scrum http://freshmeat.net/projects/agiloforscrum You have received this message because you are subscribed to the "Agilo for Scrum" Google Group.
