This is a proto-contract, intended eventually to become a PRS-based
pseduocontest (although I'm writing it so it could also become a
real contest). I'm already writing some draft Regulations, which for
obvious reasons I will not proto. However, the contract is drafted in
such a way as to give various hints as to some of eir content.

{{{
1. This is a public contract.

2. There is a player known as the Regulator. If this contract is a
contest, the Regulator is its contestmaster; otherwise, the Regulator
is ais523.

3. Any first-class person CAN join this contract by announcement if
they have never been a member of it before, or if the Regulations
allow em to do so. Any player CAN leave this contract by announcement.

4. Guesses are a currency, with the Regulator as eir recordkeepor.
Mistakes are a fixed asset, with the Regulator as eir recordkeepor.
These assets may be created and destroyed by the Regulator, in the
possession of anyone, as is specified in the Regulations.

5. The Regulations are a document which is initially secret from
everyone but the Regulator. The Regulator SHALL NOT reveal the content
of the Regulations except in situations where the Regulations state or
imply that it is POSSIBLE for em to do so. The Regulations are binding
on the Regulator, but not on anyone else; however, because they
determine the situations in which the Regulator CAN and SHALL create
and/or destroy certain assets, participants to this contract are
encouraged to try to act in such a way that the Regulations cause such
assets to be manipulated in a way that is favourable to them.

6. This contract takes precedence over all the Regulations, except
where it defers to them. Precedence among the Regulations is governed
by the Regulation with Codename AA (as defined by the Regulations).

7. The word 'participant' in the Regulations refers to any member of
this contract other than the Regulator.

8. Whenever the Regulations require the Regulator to create points in
the possession of a participant, e SHALL attempt to do so; however, it
is not a breach of paragraph 5 of this contract, or of the Regulations,
if the Regulator attempts to do so but fails. The Regulator CAN create
points in this manner if the Regulations allow them to do so (at least,
if the rules also allow them to do so, for instance if this contract is
a contest).

9. The Regulator CAN and SHALL create one point in eir own possession
for every 5 points total e attempts to create in participant's
possessions due to paragraph 7; however, this requirement is waived if
e attempts to do so but fails.

10. This contract CAN be amended with the consent of the Regulator and a
majority of the other players. The Regulations CAN be amended as
specifically allowed by the Regulations; however, whenever this happens,
the Regulator SHALL publish the changes in such a way that the new
content of the Regulations could be deduced by anyone who knew the exact
content of the old Regulations.
