Nice try, but this interpretation is trumped by a) R101(v) (right of participation in the fora) b) R478 (straightforward definitions of "public message" and "publishes" / "announces", which the new rule can't subvert so egregiously without being more explicit) c) common sense ("equivalent" is most naturally interpreted as a synonym for "shorthand" which is unidirectional, particularly in Rules 2124 and 591)
