People would be willing to scorekeep if the salary of scorekeeper was greater than the salary of the other offices. Scorekeepor is probably the most demanding position, and keeping the salary of scorekeepor the same as all the other offices encourages players to fill other less demanding positions for the same pay while more demanding offices are left vacant.
