Further elaboration: Rule 217 implies that definitions in equally- or higher-powered rules are binding. The R104 thing is different because it refers to the "first game", which is defined by R1023 as being the period of time before the first win. By applying the definition and R101 in concert, it is no longer possible for a player to achieve victory. -scshunt
