Perhaps a requirement that a player with a certain number of offices can only permanently deputise with notice? As for automatic changes when a player becomes an officer, like I said, I'd support that somewhat, but I don't think we need a separate mechanism as nothing stops a candidate from posting an intent during the election and then immediately resolving it when elected. In the unlikely event that someone doesn't feel comfortable having even a brief window where they are subject to the existing regulations, I think that the PM's ability to amend them could act as a decent out. -Alexis >
