I received the original email just fine, which implies that this email client is even more broken than I thought. Attaching the EICAR test file would have been a nice touch that might have reduced the chance of the message getting through (although I guess some relays would just delete the attachment). The spam filter equivalent isn't nearly as reliable / widely understood. -- Trigon
