Pretty sure it all works - have long wondered when someone would dig up an
ancient forgotten undone task to steal an office through deputisation -
not sure it's a loophole per se because those rewards were truly due and
no one had done them (I thought about catching up last night but then said
'eh in the morning' lol).

The fix I could think of would be something like "if the duty is over
[long time - 60 days?] late, you have to give notice to deputise if the
office isn't vacant"?
