Agora started in Australasia – I can't remember whether it was Australia or New Zealand, but either way, that's had an influence on the variant of English we use here (although Agora has come up with its own spellings like "Promotor" since). "-ise" versus "-ize" is somewhat flexible in British English, incidentally. -- ais523
