The files found linked to on our download page can all be redistributed,
however I don't know if a mirror is a good idea at the moment, as they
are all beta versions and as such I'd rather know that we can keep them
up-to-date instantly -- even now we have issues where people don't
upgrade because they're not aware a new release is out.

Is there a problem with the current fileserver that caused you to ask
this? It's at my ISP, which should have a very fast connection, so if
there's anything wrong with it, please let me know.

When the stable version is released (and it will be :-P), it may be a
good idea to make mirrors and/or CDs of the files you can get from the
website, but I think for any development releases it's probably best for
us to be the only point of distribution, so that buggy versions can't
spread too far and wide.

Remember -- you are all beta testers atm :-).

In answer to your question, I'm not sure what the best way of mirroring
the files would be (as they are stored on an FTP server that provides
files to a webserver, ugh) but we should be able to sort something out
in the future (for now there are links on the downloads page so you
could do it manually).

best regards,
