Hey Matthew et al' well it turns out that it's not the damage part that's the prob, it's the movement. <smile> This is the second time I've crashed the game's physics experimenting! lol! Anyway, it does seem that the light saber is seeing the doors and such as not part of the world, but it's not a prob, so the only dif between the two tests is that one results in damage and the other results in damage and movement, so the prob, comes with the movement and not the damage. Doors and triggers and such don't want to be moved in the same way that players and monsters do! <smile> I would have thought that it would have alerted me to the fact that it was the game physics crashing, as it told me that last time, but this time it only said player post think with a null function, which is not something I've changed, so am not completely sure even where that would come from. quite honestly, it sounds like an obscure bug in the game code which I really wouldn't know how to fix right now. But it does sound fixable. <smile>
  Anyway, just my thoughts....

Smiles,

G-Babe
