Hi,

I found a lot of these links at wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quake_II#Overview

The direct link to download the Quake 2 source code is:
ftp://ftp.idsoftware.com/idstuff/source/q2source-3.21.zip

I read all this stuff and it just sounds so interesting. I wish I knew more about coding so that I could take advantage of the information. I'm going to start reading up again on programming in C++. I'd really like to try doing what you guys are doing in developing Audio quake and making mods and that sort of thing. You guys are just way too cool!

Hi Michael, the grappling hook I used in the Mod Pack is a Quake II style grappling hook. If you have a link to the Quake II source code and the necessary compiler, I'm more than happy to take a look.
Thanks, and have a nice day!...

Hi,

Since Quake 2 is open source, does anyone know if it would be possible to port over some of the maps and weapons that are used in that version over to Audio Quake?

Hi All, well Mod Pack 3.5 is now released, along with its impulse list, source code, and a tutorial on creating / binding aliases.

You can download the lot at:

http://ftp.tbrn.net/modgirl

New in this mod in addition to the usual streamlining / bug fixes, is the Jawas Stun Gun. This is called with impulse 75, and is modeled after the weapon in the first Star Wars film which immobilizes it's victim for a short time.

Enjoy the Mods and as always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me on or off the list.
Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!...
