Too bad that most of us are playing on the Star Wars mod lately. Most of the sounds, including the walking/jumping/player emots have been changed. Not to mention all of the different weapon sounds.
Is this still alright? Maybe I can get a few people together on the classic servers Bryan -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Sabahattin Gucukoglu Sent: Saturday, March 24, 2007 3:12 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [AGRIP-discuss] Audio Of Intense Game Session Wanted Hi all, We're (that's Matthew and I) being asked to conduct a short interview for a small on-air radio station in Glasgow, and they've asked us for recordings that they can play during the interview. We'll never be able to whip up anything good at this notice (the interview is on Monday), so we're asking you, our beloved players, to step into the breach and give us some of the best selection of fraggin' action there is. The idea is that an online game sounds a good deal more impressive than a canned demo. If you can't make it, that's okay, this really is short notice. But if you do manage it, and you think it's good for listening (no vocals, please, but Quake chat sessions are fine), please tell us about it. We'll make the audio files available to the producers as soon as we get them. We don't yet have details of how to replay the interview, though we've been told that it's live at 15:05 on the Monday (with a possible pre- record earlier, though this seems unlikely now). If we should chance upon it, we'll let you know so you can enjoy it for yourself! The station's site is http://www.insightradio.co.uk/ . Have a look. Thanks!
