I've fixed most of the bugs that people had with MAUTH -- namely that it
used the password cvar and that was already for password-protected
servers. I have also fixed a bug that was reported regarding
installation of QMOD files in RC2. I have also made the launcher ask
for your chosen player name and password so that it will always run the
game with them, which means that all you have to do is issue the connect
command.

Regarding that command, I've made it so that if you were to just say
``connect tbrn.net'' it would know you actually meant ``connect
agrip.org.uk tbrn.net'' (i.e. it uses the AGRIP master server by
default.

In the next release I will add feedback to explain when the MAUTH
password supplied was not accepted (I hope :-)). I wanted to get this
one out ASAP, though, in case I don't have time to do that before
Christmas.

Please download, test and report bugs and questions at
https://launchpad.net/audioquake/ -- it really is very important to the
project that you use this tool because it makes development so much
easier for us (and will do for you, the community, soon when you take
over).

BTW I've now changed the system at http://stats.agrip.org.uk/ to only
count frags from registered players. This means you must register your
player name before your frags will be counted. It also means that bots
won't get their stats counted (they don't seem to interested, anyway,
hehe).

I strongly suggest server admins to start testing this release candidate
for us; I have tested it to some degree but we need wide testing to
ensure it's all really working.

best regards,
