Hmm... I wonder if we could handle that crash for the reboot more gracefully then a full on blown out system crash... I'll do some research int the AT crap.
And thanks for the fix. No worries, I'm enjoying AQ with open gl anyways. Also, once quake is done, what is the possibilities f applying this technology to other newer games? Is there something in quake that made you begen development for quake? Some time I'm going to look at the code and familierize myself with it. Hopefully I'd like to contribute some... I have so many development comitments that I do not know when I can do this though. Thanks, and keep up the awesome job... -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Matthew Tylee Atkinson Sent: Friday, December 28, 2007 3:49 AM To: AGRIP User and Developer discussion list Subject: Re: [AGRIP-discuss] AQ causing system reboot On Thu, 2007-12-27 at 21:18 -0800, Juan Hernandez wrote: > I'm sorry I should have made my response to this reboot email more clear. > The reboot issue happens when I am using the open gl version. I fear that this problem with the OpenGL version is caused by the interceptor driver that most access technology uses to work and there's nothing we can do about it; AT on Windows is just hideous, unfortunately (which is why we provided the vidnull version). > When using the non-graphics version, well you know what happens then, > the vidnull error message comes up. Yeah, I understand now... I hope to fix this on the 2nd when I'm badk at work (I don't have a Windows box at home). Sorry for the delay and I hope that I can get it working for you soon! best regards, -- Matthew Tylee Atkinson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> _______________________________________________ AGRIP-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.agrip.org.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/agrip-discuss _______________________________________________ AGRIP-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.agrip.org.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/agrip-discuss
