After I wrote this I went back into the game and it crashed again--when I hit f10. Hitting f10 to quit right before I wrote this didn't crash it, so I thought that since I used Jaws that's what gave me the error, though it never used to. Then I restarted the computer, without turning on Jaws. It still will not play the mods, though it shows them listed, and it crashed again when I hit f10. Oh bother!
