Maps: almost certainly.  Just put the BSP file in the right place.

Mods: almost certainly not.  It depends heavily on what the mod contains.  
Code mods (I.E., most of them) won't work.  Sound packs would work, but we 
include Mindgrid AudioQuake as an option already.  So for all intents and 
purposes, mods are controlled by this community.  Sorry about that.  But 
they're rather good mods, and you can always roll your own, so it's 
probably not so bad. :-)
