OK, I just managed to connect to DeathPool. thanks for your help and patience.
How I got it to connect was to type name DarrenH password "my password" connect 65.102.43.32:27500 Not sure if that was correct procedure but it worked. If this is in fact the case, then the only other thing I can think of that might be going wrong is that you're player name is not registered. I'm also assuming here, that you have the latest version of AQ? Were you asked for a player name at installation? If not, then you'll need to get the latest version from: http://agrip.org.uk. If you are running this version and are not sure if your' player name is registered, there should be a main menu option to enter your name along with password and it wil tell you if it's already registered or if not. The above site should also have a link to allow you to register a name.
