Hi, You should do the following I guess: - start the server by executing zqds (with incoming port 27500 blocked, so that no one can enter your game if you don't want them to) - start a client on the server and connect to localhost - Start the second client on the other computer and connect to the local ip from the server
Hope this helps, if not , just drop a line. <smile> Roland ----- Original Message ----- From: "krecoun" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "AGRIP User and Developer discussion list" <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, July 16, 2008 6:53 PM Subject: Re: [AGRIP-discuss] continuing server problems Sorry, my mistake IP address of my server pc was changed. I ran quake and started local game. On client I deleted rule about zquakewithnull (wrong spelling) to ask me again. It wanted to communicate with mail.agrip.org.uk 27000 or 27500. I didn't allowed it and: net send packet error, 1004. What now? I'm confused about that. Roland Engelsma napsal(a): > Well, I think we're allmost there.
