Hi again... As the subject says, when I tried the make help to see what targets of zquake I could compile, the x11 option wasn't there, just the sdl sdlgl and console. I know you recommend the sdl so when I get Slackware installed I'll give that a shot. Is the x11 target option missing because I don't have certain things installed? I know I need the x-devel package, but I don't know what Ubuntu calls it, and it does come with Slackware, but with earlier releases I did get the x11 option even when I didn't have the package installed. Any help appreciated to be able to get a better understanding of this. Take care, and thanks again... Cheereo!
