Hi, I am new to AudioQuake. I have it installed on 2 computers. My main computer is a Dell studio 1536 running Ubuntu 9.04. On that computer, the game talks but there is no other audio, and I can not select anything while it is talking or the voice goes all squeaky. On the other computer, a Gateway laptop, it works just fine. It has full sound and everything, and I can select options while it is still talking and it doesn't do the squeaky voice thing. The gateway is an old computer, I can't even remember the model. It is running Ubuntu as well. Is there anything I can do on this Dell to fix the game sound and the squeaky voice problem? A friend told me it was a problem Dells have with Eflite, is there perhapse a way to make it use Espeak instead? On both of the computers it is having trouble checking my name and password.
