This is a good point and would be made considerably easier if we have all the 
code in one place (e.g. launchpad) -- including all of the platform-specific 
installer stuff.  A failing of the current build system is that it only runs on 
UNIX-like OSes, though it's mostly shell scripts so could be emulated on 
windows perhaps.  But at the moment I'm unable to make releases as I no longer 
have sufficient hardware, software or time -- so this is something that will 
have to come from moving to launchpad and giving other developers the help they 
need to get the build process working for them.

I have had less time than I expected this past week, but will still put some 
blueprints up as examples when I can.
