Hi list! So. I'd said it was going to take some time before I publish anything again. Now, this time has come! I'm proud to present you... ... the ULTIMATE beta of Jedi Quake 4.3! http://aq.krisspace.net/src-jq43b-ultimate-Mar-18th-2011.zip
This version is supposed to be stable. I've made a lot of modifications since the last publication... everything is explained in the txt files (ToDo.txt and over all Mar_18th_2011.txt). This is an ultimate beta, that means it will become the official release once it's been tested long enough. For now, it's going to be run on both my server and Andre's one. If, after one week of playing, we don't have too much bugs, this beta will become official version 4.3 of JediQuake mod. I'm sorry, I haven't added all the stuffs I wanted to add at the beginning. Why, will you ask me? Well simply, because the main idea of this version 4.3 was to create something as much stable as possible. There were lots of bugs that had to be fixed. The really new stuffs, such as saber throwing, third blaster mode etc, will be for the next version. Another thing is that it took too much time for only one version... the idea of this mod is to devlope it with time, not to publish only one or two versions... and the fact we're already to version 4.3 prooves what I say. I'm not going to stop the devloping of JediQuake, but it really was time to release something good. Too much things in one time are maybe not such a good idea. So, I let you enjoying this ultimate beta, and I hope it will become stable version next week! *smiles* Once I've released this version of JQ, I'll stop the devloping for a bit time. In stead of it, I will make a real new version of the program itself. No time for ZQuake you know it... but there are a lot of things to improve. I want to offer a compatible version for Windows, Linux and Mac. For the last one I'd really need someone's help... Cara? Another user of Mac? So take care all, Christoff _______________________________________________ AGRIP-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.agrip.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/agrip-discuss
