As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu
Tahajjud - 14th Jumada-ath-Thani 1424 (13 August 2003)
Narrated by Al Mughira (Radhiallaho anho): The Prophet (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) used to stand (in the prayer) or pray till both his feet or legs swelled. He was asked why (he offered such an unbearable prayer) and he (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said, "should I not be a thankful slave."
