Jana'iz - 19th Dhul-Qa'da 1424 (12 January 2004) Narrated by Jabir bin Abdullah (Radhiallaho anho): A funeral procession passed in front of us and the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) stood up and we too stood up. We said, "O Allah's Apostle! This is the funeral procession of a Jew." He (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said, "Whenever you see a funeral procession, you should stand up."
