May I remind everyone the first rule of AI-GEOSTATS when posting something to the list?
"As requested by the subscribers, announcements of courses, conferences, software & freeware and jobs are NOT supposed to be sent to the list. You should instead use the respective online forms or contact me. I will either store the information permanently on the web site or provide a short notice and link from the main page." Given the low number of mails sent to the list, I propose to allow freeware (only those with source codes available) to be announced on the list. Authors of codes should however refreign themselves from spamming the list. This approach being completely based on subjective decisions from my side, it may end up in a total chaos. I therefore reserve the right to go back to the previous rules when I feel appropriate. I will change the information on the web site of ai-geostats one of these days.
