A MUSICAL EVENING BY VISUALLY IMPAIRED.
Going against all odds of life, these visually impaired artists of the
city gave a scintillating performance before the Bhopalites. An
enthralling musical evening ‘Ek Shaam Umeed Ke Naam’ was witnessed by
art lovers at Bharat Bhavan on Tuesday.
The musical evening of Indian traditional music was organised by an
organisation of Volunteers for the Blind, Bhopal. The students from
four schools of the city, Blind Relief Association, National
Association for Blind, Government School of Deaf, Dumb and Blind and
Kendriya Vidyalaya performed at the show. As many as 100 students
participated in the musical concert.
The concert began with prayer song ‘Itni Shakti Hume Dena Data’. Later
it was the time for the students to showcase their brilliant talent on
stage. The entire Antarang Hall was packed with the art lovers of the
city as they enjoyed the performances of the blind artists on stage.
Later, the solo performances of Bollywood tracks made the atmosphere
more enjoyable. The tracks like Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh, Rimjhim Gire
Savan, Dagabaaz Re, Chahunga Main Tujhe, Zindagi Pyar Ka Geet Hai,
Badi Door Se Aaye Hain, Dil Diya Hai Jaan Bhi Denge and even more were
presented on the occasion.
The innocence of Sufiyana music was also witnessed by the audience at
the event. The songs like Chandi Jesa Rang Hai Tera left the audience
totally enthralled.
The eye catching performance of the show was given by Taz B Tazzy T.
He performed Sufi music and the audience took the pleasure of it. He
was accompanied by Suhel Saeed on Sitar and Babar Latif Khan on Tabla.
The audiences were overwhelmed to witness the tuneful show at

For a noble cause
Dedicated to visually impaired children of Rashtriya Blind School,
Delhi, 7th Haut Monde Mrs. India Worldwide 2017 was organised at
Kingdom of Dreams in Gurugram over the weekend.
This year, Neha Deshpande of Pune bagged the title of Haut Monde Mrs.
India Worldwide. Shweta Dagar and Shwati Nanda won the title of 1st
runner up, while Karishma Chabariya was awarded the title of 2nd
runner up by the jury. This international beauty pageant, an
initiative by Shri Sai Entertainments Pvt Ltd, sees the participation
of Indian contestants from world over. Source:

 2. Training-
Vocational Training Centre
About the Organisation:
VEER JI Vocational Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities (yet
to be registered)  at Meerut, U.P. has started its new and very first
initiative   of training and employment to people with blindness, low
vision and locomotor disabilities in the sports goods manufacturing
industry. The total area this organization having is 4000 Square Feet
in which the organization has the arrangement for boarding and lodging
facilities for the trainees for 3 months after which they will be
placed.   Mr. Sunny Piplani who himself is a visually impaired wants
to employ unskilled and uneducated or less educated  Persons with
Disabilities as the job opportunities for them is scarce in the job
market.
First of all the trainee has to undergo the training of manufacturing
sports goods like Badminton,  Shettel Cocks. The   trainees will be
given mobility and orientation training of  of the area along with
meditation classes.
The number of seats available are 10 only.
The starting date of course: 18th September 2017
