Hello Karan, The most convenient way to access unprotected epubs is by first converting them into the .txt format by using a garden variety file converter.
Once you have the book in the .txt format, you are all set to access the material with your screen reader. If you happen to own the Victor Reader Stream Second Generation, you can use it to access epub books seamlessly. The Victor Reader Stream 2nd Generation does an incredible job with epub books. Surprisingly, the two built-in US voices are very natural and pose virtually no processing challenges. Please write to me off-list and I will tell you how to transfer epubs onto the Victor Reader Stream. I have not come across a Windows-based epub reader that works flawlessly with JAWS and I have tried most of them. If others know of one, they are welcome to chime in.
