Hi, Has anyone got AIDE 0.13 running on a Mac? I can't configure it and it's not in the MacPorts tree (which is a FreeBSD-like ports tree, but even easier to use). I have not specified any compiler options and am not a developer, so I don't know how to troubleshoot this (sorry!). But I am running Apple's XCode 2.4 (with GCC) on OS X 10.4.10, and can compile other security tools like nmap without any problems.
I thought maybe someone has already gone through this and has an easy fix. Here's my configure output. I'm not attaching my config.log because it's too big for a mailing list. Anyway, if you have some thoughts on what I should do, please let me know. 22:57:36 Neptune ~/compile/aide-0.13.1 $./configure checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c checking whether build environment is sane... yes checking for gawk... no checking for mawk... no checking for nawk... no checking for awk... awk checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes checking for gcc... gcc checking for C compiler default output file name... a.out checking whether the C compiler works... yes checking whether we are cross compiling... no checking for suffix of executables... checking for suffix of object files... o checking whether we are using the GNU C compiler... yes checking whether gcc accepts -g... yes checking for gcc option to accept ISO C89... none needed checking for style of include used by make...
