Manfred Hampl proposed the following answer: 1. The command with libtiff4 should not be necessary on your system because you have not got the error message "dependency not satisfied..." 2. It seems that you made some typo error during these attempts (the command ":" was not found!), but that does not matter 3. What do you get when you execute the command scangearmp 4.
