Hi all, As part of Fabricatorz efforts to make the next version of Open Font Library, we hope to use this drive towards the end of the month to get Aiki 0.9 completed.
https://launchpad.net/aikiframework/+milestone/0.9 There are some big pieces part of 0.9 like updating the translation system, firming up permission systems, completing the update system, and a lot of style changes to make coding more of a joy. Its no wonder we are calling this the "devlove" milestone. Its a lot of work, but we will be rewarded personally and with encouraging more people to join us on this project. BTW, when I documented the entire codebase, I also noted some annoying inconsistencies in style in the code itself. A great way for someone to help is to go through and remove each @todo. Really, we don't want any TODOs in the code like this, but there are just too many to make tasks. I'm making one task to remove all the todos from the codebase for 0.9. These tasks include simple things like making classnames consistent like, class Aiki rather than class aiki, and making sure variables are scoped properly. http://www.aikiframework.org/doc/todolist.html Also, don't forget we have the daily generated code documentation for the project.
