Yes, you are correct! I originally did not understand this totally, but came to love it and completely trust fosdevel's highly tested work on this build system. Yes, things change over time, but should not revert his changes. The main page of the website has packages autogenerated from the build process, and to do serious development, this is a great great approach that gets us a lot further!
