Keyboard shortcut to hide widget pane interfers with cursor movement

Bug description:
The left-Control/Left Arrow keyboard shortcut toggles the visibility
of the widget pane in the Admin interface. However, this same key
combo is customarily mapped to moving the text input cursor one word
the left.
Action: Admin focuses on a widget text input box, and pushes left-
control/Left Arrow.
Expected result: The text input cursor should move one word to the
left.
Actual result: The widget pane is hidden.
Proposed solution: Remove the keyboard shortcut from the Admin
interface. Does anyone actually use it?
