yes.. For backward compatibility reason, the "old' aiki engine (widget.php ) is used by default. You can add new version of this "engine"(1) creating a engine called aiki_2 (libs/engine_aiki_2.php)...
A important note for all: a engine can have their own rules. I mean: markups, parsers, it decides which widget will be displayed..in few words: all. (1) when it was created, nobody called it "engine"
