I prefer ((1)) you can't have that from query, or $1 like in perl or
bash, but I prefer ((1)). Why you need any character between
parentheses.

So you will have 3 types ((1)) ((*)) or ((database_field)) I also
propose in my markup ((POST[foo])) and ((object->field)). Shorter as
possible and unified with the markup.

and for constants there can be exception with [const] or maybe upper
case ((ROOT)), but I kind of get use to [root], and the url with
((ROOT)) will look kind of weird to me.
