I concur with Brad, we need to fix this. I think it could be solved with some UI love and/or linking widgets together, or storing their connections...think autocomplete.
This is part problem of aikimarkup and relying too much upon humans to fix our interface problems. people can only remember 5-7 things in short term memory, and having to hunt for even 3-5 of these is pushing a person to buzz off...above 5, forget it...one is going to get a broken site. This can affect everything from widgets not displaying (url fields), improper styling (css div calls and class overrides), to broken links in the content. It's hard to know you've accounted for everything & only becomes harder as a site is more complex.
