Hum... I've never had to do that before. Only enable the module. I'll look.

Don't hate Ubuntu. It's a great desktop system. Plus I think in this
case it's really Debian's fault. :)

But again I think we should close this bug now. The problem I'm having
now is not the same. It's either a misconfiguration or a script problem
but in any case it's not the same as the bug I described here which  you
have fixed.

Lets close this move this discussion to the list check my configuration
I'll update the installation page on the wiki accordingly if it is a
problem with my configuration and we'll open a different bug if it is not.

  Cannot install from download

Status in Aiki Framework:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  The framework cannot be install. When downloaded from 
http://aikiframework.org the content of the download file is not as expected 
for a php framework and impossible to install for most users. The only content 
that should be in the download is the content  of the /src folder found in the 
current download minus the make files.
