This is an interesting point to bring up. However, bear in mind that
it is Aiki Framework itself that is available under the AGPL license:
http://www.aikiframework.org/download.

Can anyone make the argument that the AGPL automatically applies to
sites built with Aiki Framework? After all, these sites are not
modifications to Aiki Framework (if you have to fork Aiki Framework to
build your site, then that is a different question).

Rather, building an Aiki site means creating a database and adding
your custom widgets to it. It is not a forgone conclusion that data
stored in a database is subject to the terms of an AGPL-licensed
software that is accessing that database.

Title:
Aiki sites should be Affero compliant out of the box

Status in Aiki Framework:
  New

Bug description:
Currently Aiki sites must make their code available by hand to comply
  with the license.

I bet that most Aiki sites are out of compliance with the license.
  This is a SERIOUS problem.
