tip: you can use phpmyadmin. When you write the password the first time
select MD5 in left box. Then edit the record again, but don't change the
password (it is encrypted now) and select again MD5.

Title:
Changing password in admin panel causes login to fail

Status in Aiki Framework:
  New

Bug description:
When I install the software, one of the first things I'll do is go
into the admin panel to change my admin password from the randomly
generated one to one I can more easily remember.

In one of the latest aiki versions, I'm noticing that login will fail
after I've changed the password in this way. I went into the db &
noted that the actual password itself had been stored in the db, once
the change was made, rather than an encrypted version.

The version I was running was: aiki 0.8.24.1098 & I was using in
  Firefox 10 on mac os x 10.7.3
