Arrgh, then this is yet another Gmail 'quirk', and one I wasn't aware of before.
What you did is perfectly fine and I do this x times myself every day.
As I'm also subscribed to general@, I should get two emails, one from both
lists. But Google in all its wisdom and efficiency will throw away every
subsequent email with the same hash value (for its *body*).
So, in *this* case I only received the one for airavata-dev@ (which one comes
first is random I'm afraid), and *that* causes the reply-to being set to
airavata-dev@ instead of general@
Sigh, this is nothing you can or should do about, except blame Gmail.
Please continue cc'ing this list as that is certainly proper in this case.
