Hi,

I'm just starting to look in to details of Airavata. Here are some
minor things that I think can be improved.

1. We have to put the $JAVA_HOME/bin to the PATH. Usually lot of Java
applications derive the java executable from the JAVA_HOME variable.

2. We have to start three applications to get it running. If it is not
absolutely necessary I think for the default case some of them can be
started from the same java virtual machine. if they have to be run
separately it can be specified using a configuration.

3. The console logs I see while running the Airavata have different
logging templates. For example some components log with only the log
level and some with log level + thread id. It is better to get them in
to a consistent format.

Documentation:

1. As a user I would like to see the Documentation section of the
website write at the top of the navigation pane before the
Architecture section.
2. In the sections where it says how to start Airavata, it is better
to give information about how to set JAVA_HOME.

Thanks,
