Legacy Visual Basic Upgrades - analysis and upgrades to legacy Multifamily
Visual Basic applications
Experienced Visual Basic developer who can do analysis on current legacy
Visual Basic application which are currently built on an unsupported version
of Visual Basic (VB4). Analysis to include recommendation as to what Visual
Basic version these applications should be migrated. In addition, the level
of effort and cost associated with upgrading these applications must be
completed. Risk, constraints and assumption identification must be part of
the assessment.
Required Skills:
Experience in Visual Basic versions 4, 5 and 6
Class-oriented software development
Windows API
ActiveX technology
ActiveX Data Objects (ADO)
Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills
Sybase 12 - 15
Full development lifecycle and conducting proof of concept
with new technologies
Custom control development experience a plus
