Job Title: Business Analyst U.S. citizens and H-1Bs accepted Number of Openings: 2 Job Location: Columbia, SC Job Duration: 6 months with a possible 1 year extension Job Type: On-site 40 hours a week Bill Rate Range: Open Job Description: Develop a business and technical plan to include: Specifications for legal entity to manage and operate the state-level HIE Comprehensive business, legal and technical details Consider the following in developing the business and technical plan: Overall healthcare environment related to a state level HIE, HIT adoption and other ARRA opportunities Current business, legal and technical environment in health care Existing and evolving standards Trends and best practices – State and Federal Examples of tasks for consultant(s) to complete: •Task 1 – Stakeholder Assessment and Environmental Scan • Task 2 – Inventory statewide public and private technical assets for State leve HIE, HIT, and infrastructure including existing and proposed • Task 3 – Evaluate and validate business use cases for HIE • Task 4 – Document and evaluate the business and technical architecture options.
