A JAVA programmer performs essential functions such as application design/analysis, development project plans, coding, testing, documenting all code, and maintaining and upgrading existing applications. This includes the coding, debugging and testing application programs utilizing JAVA and web-based programming tools. St Paul, MN 12 Months ( with 6 months extensions) Rate: Market Required Skills: B.S. or B.A. Degree Certified JAVA Programmer (i.e. SCJP) or degree program with focus on JAVA programming. Comm Skills: Must be Good Minimum 8+ years of total IT Exp Two or more years of experience in JAVA Programmer role. Three or more engagements (Projects) as JAVA Programmer. Three or more engagements (Projects) lasting more than 6 months in JP role. Three or more engagements designing, coding, implementing and testing J2EE (JAVA Servlets, JSP, EJB technology & web based applications. Three or more engagements designing, coding, implementing and testing JavaScript. Two or more engagements involving struts and tiles. Two or more engagements involving JSP & tab libraries. One or more years of experience in relational databases using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and/or DB2 for developing stored procedures. EJBs and servlets may be required for some engagements. No minimum. XML/XSL/XSLT may be required for some engagements. No minimum. HTML/DHTML may be required for some engagements. No minimum. UNIX & Scripting may be required for some engagements. No minimum. Cases and UML may be required for some engagements. No minimum. C/C++ may be required for some engagements. No minimum. WebLogic or Websphere may be required for some engagements. No minimum. Object Oriented Analysis (OOA) and/or Design (OOD) may be required for some engagements. No minimum.
