Title: Oracle Applications Administrator Location: Omaha, NE Duration: 6 Month Below is the job description, but the main things the client is looking for is - 1. Extensive experience managing Oracle EBS Suite applications 2. Strong PL/SQL Skills 3. This is NOT a DBA position, but an Applications Administrator position. • We are seeking a strong Oracle System Administrator for the Oracle Business Suite of applications in a Linux environment. • You will provide installation, configuration, upgrading, patching, and support of all EBS application environments. • Proactively monitor and ensure the high availability and disaster recovery of all EBS application environments. • Develop, manage, confirm and test all backup and recovery practices. • Continually tune he applications for performance and support the Oracle development teams. • Other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience required: • Must have demonstrated professional experience managing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite environment in a multi-node and multi-tier environment. • Systems administration skills (installation, configuring, upgrading, patching, backup, recovery, cloning, monitoring, tuning, refreshing, debugging, and supporting). • Strong PL/SQL skills • Must have experience in a Linux environment • Innovative Outlook/Vision • Communication, • Leadership/Accountability • Customer Service • Teamwork • Have the ability to quickly adapt in a rapidly changing environment and deliver assigned projects within the established time, scope and budget parameters. • Must be self-motivated and have great attention to details.
