Client is looking for a Cognos SDK/Java Developer in the Healthcare service industry. This is a 6+ month’s contract which may go longer. The job location is Topeka, KS. *Cognos SDK/Java Developer* to maintain and improve performance of SQL Server 2005 as well as help mentor and train staff. REQUIREMENTS:** • Expertise and is a skilled coder with Cognos 8.3 SDK and Java. • Expert at 'tuning' the performance of the server to allow for smoother running and processing. • Previous experience in a DBA role. • Ability to program Cognos and help with coding transformation of background automation apps. • WebSphere, JUnit Testing, ClearCase, RAD 7.5, RSA and z/OS DB2 and SQL Server. • Understanding of Star Schema Design. • Experience with health insurance a plus. • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Computer Science preferred. • At least two years of experience as a Java developer.
